Triangle Community Center
Triangle Community Center (TCC) is Fairfield County’s LGBTQ community center, providing social services, support groups, and social programs for the LGBTQ community. Founded in 1990, TCC operated for 23 years without full-time staff. It ran on the dedication of volunteers and advocates whose work for the LGBTQ community at large dated back to the 1970s. In 2013, TCC hired its first full-time Executive Director, Anthony Crisci. Since 2013, TCC has rapidly expanded its work for the LGBTQ community. In 2014, TCC inaugurated its co-sponsored housing program for LGBTQ people at Moore Place in Norwalk. In 2015, TCC launched its case management program, creating care plans for LGBTQ people in need and connecting them with services that affirm LGBTQ identities. To date, TCC has served over 300 case management clients. TCC houses over 30 regular programs and services at its facility in Norwalk, or further afield, including in Danbury and Bridgeport. For the past three years, TCC has organized Pride in the Park, the largest Pride festival in Fairfield County’s history, welcoming internationally-known headliners for a family-friendly festival.
