Rising Star: Seth Wallace

Seth Wallace is from Boston, MA but resides in New Haven, CT. He has nearly 15 years of queer activism experience and a particular interest in working with youth on issues of gender identity. Currently, Seth works for the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence coordinating a national youth leadership movement called inspirED, designed to equip high school students and teachers with the skills they need to create positive emotional climates in our nation’s schools. He is completing his MSW at Southern Connecticut State University, and works as an intern at the Yale LGBTQ Resource Center developing programs and counseling students around topics of gender and sexuality. This will be Seth’s third year as a chairman of the Pride New Haven Committee. He also works as an independent consultant and educator on queer identity for K-12, college, and graduate schools and other professional organizations.
