Christine O’Leary

From Social Worker/Community Organizer and Activist to Comedienne/Entertainer and Social Media Editor, Christine O’Leary has worn many hats over the years.  One of the most popular lesbian comediennes in the country, Christine has used her influence to raise money and advocate for sexual minorities over the years. She served for many years on the Board of True Colors, which hosts the largest GLBTQ Youth Conference in the nation. She currently serves as Theater Operations Director for the Ridgefield Playhouse. Christine has appeared at comedy clubs, and pride events, across the country and her improvisational style working in the moment with the crowd always delights. Her presence at fundraisers for organizations across the state has always helped to bolster the success of those events. She has never lost an opportunity to raise awareness — or funds — for LGBT youth. Christine is another whose community service light is often hidden. We will shine a light on her generosity. In addition to being an honoree at the 11th Annual Dorothy Awards, she will also be serving as host.
